About the artist

I have loved being creative my entire life. Whether it's a cajun dinner simmering In my kitchen or planning events, this is where I use my energy. My family, John, Adalyne & Beau, moved across the country from CA to Medina, Ohio as soon as Covid shut down the world in 2020!

Once my children were settled, I began classes learning Alcohol Inks (No, that’s not drinking wine and painting…but many times a glass of wine is nearby)! I also explored Pour Painting techniques and then Resin Pouring. My art soon took over my library shelves in my home & orders started rolling In.

I now know God was wanting me to slow down, pray more, and learn something about myself. One year later, this happened!! My husband & Adalyne have been supportive of me turning our beautiful "library room" into a crazy messy art bonanza and for Christmas, she reorganized my entire space!

There is a heartfelt meaning behind II Art, Isabelle's Ink. Our daughter, Isabelle Lois, went to heaven the night she was born on Aug 8, 2008. I have always wanted to honor her memory by doing something only God could have lead me to. To honor her, the proceeds I make will be giving back to our community. In 2021, we shopped toys & clothes for children in need. I also volunteer at the Office for Older Adults In Medina County, teaching art classes and organizing the spring fundraiser. This, I'm doing all through my love for our sweet Isabelle. So, if you buy one of my pieces or order a custom one, know that it has been prayed over in memory of her.

Thank you for all of the love and support!

With Much Love, Mishalene + Isabelle's Ink
